Course: Level 1 DUI 12 Hours

ABC Drive Safe is an approved court and Nevada DMV licensed provider that meets the DUI Level 1 (12-hour) requirements that are now enforced by Nevada Law NAC Chapter 483, R084-22 that must be completed within 21 days of registration.

Our curriculum is developed based on the Prime For Life® evidence-based, live and synchronous model as intervention specifically designed for people who might be making high-risk choices. This includes but is not limited to impaired driving participants, college students, and people of all ages charged with alcohol and/or drug offenses.

We are pleased to introduce a new 12-hour DUI Level 1 education program that fully complies with Nevada’s legal requirements under NRS 484C.400. This course is structured specifically to meet state standards for first-time DUI offenders and is designed to support accountability through a stream-lined and accessible learning experience of Evidenced-Based, published and peer-reviewed training content. This Level 1 course meets all required criteria for Nevada-approved DUI education providers, including:

Instruction delivered across three (3) structured sessions of 4 hours each, mandatory completion within 21 days
An evidence-based curriculum focused on risk reduction, behavior change, and responsible decision-making
Built-in flexibility allowing for approved make-up options when necessary

Our bilingual (English/Spanish) education team is composed of Master's Level (M.Ed.) instructional designers and a medical advisory board to assure alignment with Nevada state guidelines. We pair educational content with impactful real-life perspectives to ensure participants meet court-mandated requirements while receiving meaningful, practical instruction intended to prevent future offenses. Our class is divided into three sessions of four-hour each, offered on Wednesdays (2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) and Sundays (10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) in a continuous loop. All times are Pacific Standard Time. Rescheduling is possible as long as you complete the course within the 21 days allotted by the court. You must attend all three sessions, engage in full participation, and may not be absent during the timed session that take place via Zoom with your camera in visual mode during the entire session; breaks are provided during the session. Once all sessions are completed, pass the final exam and you will receive a certificate of completion in your email to send to the court and/or your attorney.

GREEN PHASE - Exploring Impairment Effects

Learning about risk-reduction to:

* define low-risk behavior

* teach the science behind impairment and risks

* help participants understand personal vulnerabilities

* provide a baseline for evaluating future decisions

Each four-hour session is mandated attendance in order to complete the 12-hour course. Each is constructed as a stand-alone class, which means people registering at any time can follow the coursework and get value from it, no matter when you join the program.
